PROSPERITY — The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office reported the recent arrest of Beauregard Lane Shideler, 32, Jeffrey Shardon Morrill, 31, and Albert Danley Graham Jr., 36, after an investigation into stolen utility trailers on Sept. 24 and 26.
According to the report the investigation began on Sept. 24 when the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a utility trailer taken from a roofing company that had been working at the Hickory Hill Church in the Prosperity community.
On Sept. 26, the Sheriff’s Office was notified of theft from a storage yard west of Bonifay where a utility trailer, toolbox and several other items were taken, according to the report.
According to the report the Sheriff’s Office was able to identify Morrill as a suspect in the first theft and Shideler as a suspect in the second theft.
When deputies went to interview Morrill at his residence, they observed a shake and bake meth lab containing a substantial quantity of meth oil, according to the report and when deputies interviewed Shideler, he admitted to his involvement in theft.
According to the report the investigation also revealed that both Morrill and Shideler had taken the stolen trailers to Graham’s residence in the New Hope community.
Graham later admitted to receiving the trailers from Morrill and Shideler and trading them to an individual in Geneva, Ala.
Deputies were able to recover the trailers and most of the stolen property and all three subjects remain in the Holmes County Jail.
According to the report Shideler is being charged with grand theft, Morrill is being charged with trafficking methamphetamine and grand theft and Graham is being charged with dealing in stolen property.
“We will not tolerate these individuals depriving hard working citizens of their property,” said Sheriff Tim Brown.
