CHIPLEY - The Washington County Tourist Development Council's (TDC) two-year quest to find a suitable logo to present local tourism won't be coming to an end anytime soon.
After being dissatisfied with previous proposals, the board approved Director Heather Lopez's suggestion to do more research into obtaining an acceptable logo.
The board reached a consensus they'd prefer to delay finding a logo until a quality one can be found to properly represent the county and the tourism it has to offer.
Agendaed items discussed in the board's Monday, June 23 meeting also included:
· Approving the purchase of an iMac computer for the Director Heather Lopez's office
· Discussion of a geocaching trail which is being developed and is intended to attract tourism
· Heard an update on the Dixie World Series, set for July 26 through July 30 in Chipley
