One suspect identified and another in need of identification

CHIPLEY – Chipley Police Department reports that due to the efforts of the community the subject responsible for grand theft at Chipley Wal-Mart on June 28 was identified as Derrick McCallister, 23, of Graceville, who is still at large.

Reports indicate that the Chipley Police Department was in contact with McCallister, urging him to “turn himself in,” to which McCallister promptly declined.

Chipley Police Department is requesting the community’s help once again in identifying a suspect in a theft from the Chipley Wal-Mart which occurred on July 2.

According to the report the unknown person entered the store and stole a computer and a back pack valued at $400.

The Chipley Police Department is requesting that if anyone has information to contact the Chipley Police Department at 638-6310 and to remain anonymous to contact Crime Stoppers of Washington County at 638-TIPS.
