“Life wasn't handed to me on a silver platter," said Kriser. "Like others in the area, we struggled financially and lacked the background and opportunities of higher education.  But with the help of good teachers, I became engaged in academics and involved in clubs and extracurricular activities ... I want to see every child in Holmes County receive a good, quality education.  I want every student to be well-prepared to choose a career and receive the training to pursue it.”
