Kiwanis donates $1,980.47 to PINK Program

BONIFAY — Karen Johnson with the Holmes County Health Department and Angie Moore with the Tri-County Community Council received a check for $1,980.47 on behalf of the PINK (Protection Is In Knowledge) Program from the Kiwanis Club of Bonifay recently.

The PINK Program a program that was established in 2006 to help uninsured or low-income women between the ages of 35 and 49 to receive a screening mammogram.

Since 2006 the program has helped 180 women in Holmes County. This program is funded by donations from the Bonifay Kiwanis Club, residents and various clubs, organizations and events.
