CHIPLEY — A single vehicular crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 10 at Mile Marker 118 this morning caused minor injuries for the driver and hours of traffic delays.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol a 2007 Freight Tractor-Trailer loaded with topsoil and mulch was headed westbound on Interstate 10 and traveled partially on the north shoulder.

The driver, Thomas Lee Cook, Jr., 48, of Old Town, then over corrected, causing the vehicle to travel partially into the median and Cook over corrected again, striking a guardrail and overturning, spilling its contents onto the roadway and causing minor traffic delays for westbound traffic on Interstate 10, according to the report.

Cook was transported to Northwest Florida Hospital with minor injuries.
