Seacrest Wolf Preserve's annual event returns next week

The Dog-o-ween Costume contest registration is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., judging is held at 3 p.m. with winners announced shortly after 3:30 p.m.

All participating dogs must be social, have current vaccinations and must be on a leash and contained at all times. All Dog-O-Ween costume contestants must be dressed in Halloween costumes and prizes will be given to each canine participant. This event is for dogs only.

Marcia Johnston “Buffalo Woman “ representing the Choctaw Tribe will honor us with her flute music from noon to 1 p.m. and at various times throughout the day.

Tickets may be purchased for the concession food at the pavilion. Home baked cakes and goodies sold at the Howl-O-Ween goodie tent. Tickets may be purchased at raffle table for exciting raffle baskets, which will include hand made wolf quilt, hand made crochet throws and other items.

Campfire and Haunted Hayride starts at 7 p.m.

Everyone journeys to the drumming circle/campfire area for these events starting at 6:45 p.m. The Haunted Hayrides will begin after the campfire activities from the campfire area at 8 p.m. This is not recommended for small children who are easily frightened. Haunted hayride experiences involve mature scary activities.
