Drug Task Force arrests 4 in narcotics investigation

On May 15, Task Force Investigators received information about suspected illegal drug activity at a residence.  After arriving on scene, investigators were given permission by the homeowner to search the residence at 4581 E. Berry Street in Caryville.

 During the search, several bottles in active production of methamphetamine were found throughout the home, according to the release. 

In addition, items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, as well as finished product were discovered, according to police.

 A three-year-old child was found in the home at the time of the search.  Department of Children and Families was contacted and took the child into protective custody.
