Chipley Police seek shoplifting suspects

Three women are suspected of shoplifting computers from Wal-Mart on Sept. 12. Police are seeking the identity of the women.

CHIPLEY — Chipley Police are looking for three women suspected of stealing computers from Wal-Mart on Sept. 12.

According to police, three black women entered the Chipley Wal-Mart on Sept. 12 together and proceeded to the electronics section of the store, where they selected three laptop computers that had been placed out as discounted items. 

The items were then taken by the women to the men’s wear department where electronic security devices were removed from the boxes, according to police.  The women then concealed the laptop computers in stolen canvas bags and/or purses and exited the store.

The Chipley Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying the suspects in this case.  If anyone has any information regarding this case they should contact the Chipley Police Department  at 638-6310.
