Chipley woman killed in single car crash

MALONE — A 26-year-old Chipley woman was killed Tuesday morning after the car she was driving drifted off the road and crashed.
Jessica Paul was flown to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The FHP reports the 2009 Chevrolet Paul was driving eastbound on State 2 collided with a traffic sign, spun out and smashed into a tree east of Biscayne Road at around 8:45 a.m. She was not wearing a seatbelt, and investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor.
