Three Juveniles Arrested In connection With Burglaries

CHIPLEY — Three teenagers were arrested in connection with burglary following a traffic stop, according to a Washington County Sheriff’s Office released today, Feb. 9.
During a traffic stop, officers with the Chipley Police Department noticed that a vehicle, occupied by 6 people, contained items that may have been stolen.
After speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, police say the juveniles admitted to spending most of the evening driving around burglarizing homes.
Investigators with both Chipley Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office interviewed the subjects during which they discovered that a home on Fifth Street, as well as a vehicle and a home on South Boulevard had been burglarized by the teens.
The three 17-year-old white boys were arrested in connection with principal burglary, unoccupied structure. Two also face charges of petit theft.
