Goodwill Industries-Big Bend Opens New Store in Chipley
For more than 40 years, Goodwill Industries-Big Bend has been the area’s ultimate recycler. Through collections and resale to the more than 980,000 people who shopped with us last year, Goodwill Industries-Big Bend is making good use of our resources.
This Friday, Goodwill Industries-Big Bend will open a new store in Chipley, FL. in what was the Chuck Wagon Restaurant.” The relocation and grand opening of a bigger Goodwill store in Chipley will allow Goodwill to offer a better selection of clothing, furniture, toys, books, etc to the residents of Washington County and to increase the services in job placements and job training in these critical economic times.
Join Representative Brad Drake, Mayor Linda Cain, City Council members, members of the Chamber and community for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday June 26, 2009 at 9 AM at the New Goodwill Store, located at 1301 Main Street. Doors open at 10 am for a fresh selection of items for your shopping pleasure and complimentary refreshments.
