Bonifay man killed on 231

ROUND LAKE - A 25-year-old Bonifay man died early Sunday from injuries sustained in a single-car crash on U.S. 231.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Timothy Robert Fowler died early Sunday from injuries sustained in a single-car crash on U.S. 231.

Fowler, was traveling northbound on U.S. 231. After missing the curve, his vehicle went up an embankment, struck a large tree, split in half and caught fire. Folwer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred near Round Lake in Jackson County. Fowler was not wearing a seat belt.
