Wreck in Esto seriously injures two

ESTO – A car accident involving two Graceville residents, Brandon Pelham, 17, and Brandon Sadler, 21, occurred just north of Bonifay around noon.

According to State Trooper James Bass, Pelham, driver, and Sadler, passenger, were heading southbound on State Road 79 when the vehicle, a Lincoln Town Car, lost control and ended up on the west shoulder.

No other vehicles were involved.

“Both were life-flighted by AirHeart to Dothan with serious injuries,” said Bass. “Both are being flown to Dothan.”

Along with Esto emergency units, Bonifay Fire-Rescue was also present to assist.

“We had to come in with the Jaws of Life to get the driver out,” said Holmes County Firefighter/EMT Travis Cook.
