Bay County man charged with drug crimes

A search warrant executed yesterday by the Bay Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Squad (BADGES) resulted in the seizure of 15 grams of ICE or Crystal Meth and the arrest of Toby Edward Lavender on numerous drug charges.

BADGES officers searched the residence at 238 Pine Ridge Circle in Panama City yesterday at about noon. Inside a boat in the garage was found most of the total 15 grams of Ice or Crystal Methamphetamine discovered in the home. The boat, a custom high speed racing boat, was seized, as was a 2004 Ford 350 King Cab diesel and about $1,600.00 in US currency.

Lavender, DOB 1/22/74, of 238 Pine Ridge Circle, was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana not more than 20 grams. The investigation is ongoing with additional arrests expected.
