One-year anniversary of Wright disappearance

We are nearing the one year anniversary of the disappearance of Washington county resident Britney Jenae Wright.  Britney was 19 years of age at the time of her disappearance and was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at her home on County Road in Washington County.  Since that time, she has not been seen nor had contact with any family members.  All of her belongings were left at her home (clothing, identification, and other items she would normally take if leaving her residence).  She was last seen wearing a t-shirt and pajama shorts.  In addition to Washington County, she also has family in the Ozark, AL area.

“Our investigators have worked this case non-stop since Britney’s disappearance” states Sheriff Bobby Haddock.  “We are all personally invested in this case and nothing would bring us more joy than to bring Britney home to her family.”

Britney has brown hair, brown eyes and is approximately 5’0 in height.  Crimestoppers is offering a reward for up to $1000 for information regarding the whereabouts of Ms. Wright.  If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of Ms. Wright, please contact Crimestoppers at 638-TIPS (8477).
