The tractors come to Vernon for Heritage Day
The Preserving Our Past Association hosted its 4th annual Holmes Valley Heritage Day on Saturday, March 22 at 3901 Wilderness Road Vernon. The proceeds from this show go to maintenace of the show site, and ten percent of the profits to the Washington County Scholarship Trust for scholarships to Washington County high schoolers.
A large crowd was on hand to enjoy the event, helped along by excellent weather.There were tractor pulls all day, with the ever-popular pedal pull for kids. There was also an Easter egg hunt that drew dozens of children, with T-shirts and prizes awarded. The popular Parade of Tractors was led by John Cook's 1912 Case and featured some of the best examples of antique tractors around
