Drug arrest in Holmes County

On March 12 narcotics investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office stopped a pickup truck on Highway 90 driven by Robert Ed Curry, 43, for a traffic infraction.  During the stop Curry was acting very nervous which prompted investigators to search the vehicle. The search revealed a vial of methamphetamine hidden under the driver’s seat. Curry was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine and is in the Holmes County Jail awaiting first appearance.
