He is risen! Easter Sonrise Service celebrated at Blue Lake

The Washington County Ministerial Association hosted the annual Easter Sonrise Service at Blue Lake Baptist Church Sunday. Despite a chilly morning a large number of worshippers was on hand to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ at a beautiful setting on Blue Lake.

Pastor Tim Evans of Blue Lake Baptist Church gave the welcome and delivered the message from the Gospel of Luke. Pastor Larry Brown of Grant Tabernacle AME Church gave the scripture reading, Pastor Mike Vosbrink of Country Oaks Baptist Church prayed for the offering for the transient ministry, and Pastor David Darrow of First Presbyterian Church of Chipley gave the benediction and blessed the excellent country breakfast prepared by the men of Blue Lakes Baptist Church.

Lucinda Castells provided special music.
