Two sentenced in drug-related cases
CHIPLEY - The Chipley Police Department reports the sentencing of two cocaine dealers, according to a news release from CPD.
Sentenced was Bobby Brigham of Martin Luther King Blvd. in Chipley. Brigham was arrested after he sold cocaine on numerous occasions to an undercover officer from the Chipley Police Department, according to the news release. Brigham received four years in the Department of Corrections with two years of probation to follow.
Also, sentenced was Phillip Hardrick of Old Bonifay Road, Chipley. Hardrick was arrested after an extensive investigation where Hardrick sold “crack” cocaine to an undercover officer from CPD. Hardrick received six years in the Department of Corrections.
Other sentences of drug offenders include:
Curtis Bisher, Shalimar: four years drug offender probation
William Hunter, Campbellton Ave., Chipley: three years drug offender probation
Chris Ramos, Bonifay: five years drug offender probation
“Here at the Chipley Police Department we enjoy a strong spirit of cooperation with our partners at the courthouse and the State Attorney’s Office,” Chipley Police Chief Kevin Crews said in the news release. “Each of these investigations was labor intensive and required hours of hard work by all parties involved.
“We once again want to thank Barbara Finch and Erin Oliver of the State Attorney’s Office for their hard work.”
