BONIFAY – A search warrant conducted Monday, April 30, resulted in the arrest of three Bonifay residents on felony drug charges.

Investigators with Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant around 5:30 a.m. at 1562 Yeargain Road, detaining four adults as the residence was searched.

According to a HCSO news release, during the search investigators recovered a bag containing approximately a quarter-ounce of methamphetamine and a container that held more baggies which had methamphetamine residue from a bedroom in which a juvenile had been sleeping.

Investigators also located inside the home two more small baggies of methamphetamine, two bags of marijuana, two sets of scales, and various paraphernalia.

Residents Tanya H. Hedlund, John D Hedlund, and Weston D. Gilmore were all arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. Weston is also charged with possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams).

Kenneth R. Kennedy was also present at the home, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams)
