CHIPLEY - With the help of tips from the public, the Chipley Police Department has identified four suspects believed to be involved in a theft that occurred at the Walmart in Chipley on Jan. 19.

Police Chief Scott Thompson reached out to the public for help identifying the suspects on Wednesday. According to a media release, the individuals allegedly stole more than $400 in items from the business before leaving in a gold four-door sedan.

By Thursday, all suspects had been named, and charges are pending. The names have not yet been publicly released.

The Chipley Police Department expressed appreciation to the public for all the tips and to the Geneva Police Department for their assistance in identifying the subjects.
