CHIPLEY – A vehicle’s faulty equipment leads to the arrest of one for multiple drug charges.

Chipley Police Department conducted a traffic stop for faulty equipment on February 5. While stopped the narcotics detection K-9 was deployed and gave a positive alert for narcotics inside of the vehicle.

Officers then conducted a search inside the vehicle and discovered several items containing drugs and other paraphernalia.

A bag that was found containing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was determined to belong to the driver, identified as Toni L. Sasser, 33, of Chipley.

Sasser was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of narcotic equipment.
