BONIFAY – A Holmes County man was arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

A Holmes County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Johnny Webb on Highway 177-A for a traffic related offense January 6.

A K-9 was deployed to perform an open air search on the vehicle’s exterior, where a positive alert for narcotics was given.

Deputies searched the vehicle and located a bandana under a seat that contained a glass pipe and a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine.

Webb was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
