On December 8, 2017, a deputy with HCSO responded to a residence on Boswell Rd. reference to a suspicious white male attempting to get into the complainant’s vehicle.  The suspect left on a GMC blazer when the complainant confronted him.
The deputy located the suspect vehicle on Hwy 90 traveling west and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Sean Stewart from Bonifay.  While talking with Stewart the deputy could smell burnt marijuana as well as see drug paraphernalia in plain view.  A search of Stewart and the vehicle was conducted and located on Mr. Stewart person was a plastic bag that contained methamphetamine and another bag that contained marijuana.
Stewart was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
