CHIPLEY - Local Boy Scout Noah Owens was recognized when the City of Chipley met Tuesday for his recent achievements while attending the 90th National Scout Jamboree in Mount Hope, West Virginia. While there, Owens was a stand-out among 40,000 other scouts, catching the eye of top Boy Scout leaders with his attention to duty and honor. Owens, who is part of the Chipley and Bonifay Tropp 39, has earned nearly 30 merits badges and other leadership recognition, as well as served four terms as Patrol Leader for Troop 39.
