PONCE DE LEON – Holmes County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call on October 2, which led to the arrest of a Ponce de Leon Couple.
When deputies arrived at 2842 Ponce de Leon Springs Road, contact was made with two parties, both of whom were intoxicated. The man had lacerations on his arms. There were marks on the woman as well.
As the deputy spoke with the subjects, he located several pipes used to smoke crack cocaine. A plastic bag containing a substance that later field tested positive as cocaine was also located.
Michael Sanders and Tammy Planck were both arrested and charged with battery, possession of cocaine, and possession of paraphernalia.
