BETHLEHEM – A Bonifay woman was arrested September 19 after a probable cause traffic stop.
A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Investigator stopped an Oldsmobile car on Highway 2 in Bethlehem. The driver was identified as Stacy Hobbs, of Bonifay.
Hobbs told the investigator that she had a small amount of narcotics in her purse. The investigator then conducted a search of the purse and located a glass pipe containing methamphetamine.
Once located, Hobbs attempted to grab the pipe from the investigator. She became belligerent and had to be physically restrained.
Hobbs was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest without violence.
Hobbs is currently on state probation for grand theft and possession of methamphetamine.
