BONIFAY – Several contracts for services within the district were approved by the Holmes County School Board when they met in regular session August 15.

A service agreement with Florida State University Early Childhood Austism Program was approved. Contracted services for a board certified behavioral analyst, teachers of visually impaired and school psychologist were also approved.

Personnel recommendations were approved as follows:

• The hiring of Jared Mosely as head basketball coach at Poplar Springs High school

• The transfer of Alisha McCaskill from teacher at Ponce de Leon High School to teacher at Bonifay K-8 school.

• Resignations were accepted from Elizabeth Laird as Data clerk at Ponce de Leon High School and Susan Steverson as teacher at the GAP.

• Leave of Absences were approved for Stephanie Jones a Paraprofessional at Poplar Springs High School and Cathy Gilman a bus driver for Ponce de Leon.

Holmes County School Board will meet again in regular session at 6 p.m. on September 5.
