CHIPLEY – A Georgia woman was arrested on drug charges July 14, when a Chipley Police Officer made a routine traffic stop.

Officer Thomas stopped a maroon Lincoln Town Car for a traffic violation and made contact with the driver, identified as Vivian Davis, 29, of Bainbridge, Georgia.

During the stop, Officer Thomas utilized his narcotics detection K-9, Stryker.

Stryker alerted the officer who then conducted a search of the vehicle.

The search found methamphetamine and marijuana.

Davis was taken into custody and transported to Washington County Jail and was booked on possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (methamphetamine).
