TALLAHASSEE - Washington County Schools Director of Operations Bill Lee has been sworn in as President of the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

The statewide organization boasts more than 4,500 members and is one of the fastest growing associations in Florida.

Lee has served Washington County schools for more than 40 years in several capacities, including teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and district staff administrator.

"His passion for small and rural districts is unwavering," said FASA Public Information Coordinator Asia Johnson. "Lee considers himself a true believer in the value of public education."

FASA’s mission is to support school administrators in providing high quality education to the students of Florida through advocacy, leadership, and professional development.
