JACKSON COUNTY - Two former members of the Jackson County Tax Collector's Sneads office were indicted Thursday for grand theft and forgery.

A Grand Jury returned a true bill of indictment for Roberta Mary Cotton and Genene Hill Hall after facts of the investigation were presented by 14th Judicial Circuit State Attorney Glenn Hess.

The indictment comes after an eight-month investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Intelligence.

Both Cotton and Hill were booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of grand theft over $100,000.00, organized scheme to defraud, and 218 counts of forgery.

Each received a $150,000.00 bond.
