BONIFAY - Pastor Joe Earnest and the congregation of Little Rock Assembly of God invite the community to join them in celebrating the church's 100th anniversary at 10 a.m., Sunday, June 25.

"What a joy it is to announce the celebration service of the 100th anniversary of Little Rock Assembly of God," said Earnest. "It is amazing to think that 100 years ago, a small group of people gathered together to build a church that would have such an impact on their community."

The theme for the celebration is “Through it All…God is faithful." Celebration will begin with “A Walk Through the Decades,” featuring various former members and the 1967 Youth Choir sharing their talents.

Historical pictures, a Heritage Table, and several mementoes will be presented.

Rev. Thomas Trask, former Superintendent of The General Council of the Assembly of God, will be the featured speaker. District Superintendent Rev. Tommie and Rese Moore will also be guests of honor, as well as former pastors.

“Dinner on the ground” in the Fellowship Hall will follow the service.

"Our desire is to glorify God in this celebration, and we would love to have you join us in praising the Lord for all that He has done and is going to do in the future at Little Rock," Earnest said.

Little Rock Assembly of God is located at 1923 Highway 173 Bonifay.
