HOLMES COUNTY — Just days after issuing a warrant for his arrest, an Alabama man wanted in connection with several Holmes County burglaries is now in custody.

The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office issued three arrest warrants last week for suspects involved in a burglary ring that spanned from Holmes County to Geneva County, Alabama.

Frank J. Querry of Slocomb, Alabama was on the run from authorities but was apprehended in Geneva County, where is awaiting extradition to Holmes County on three counts of burglary, three counts of grand theft, dealing in stolen property and burglary of a conveyance.

Two others were arrested in connection with the ring last week.

Earl Ray Layton of Hartford, Alabama is being held in Geneva County Jail and now has warrants in Holmes County for five counts of burglary, five counts of grand theft, dealing in stolen property and burglary of a conveyance. 

Annie Williamson of Slocomb, Alabama is currently in Holmes County Jail charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of grand theft, dealing in stolen property and burglary of a conveyance.
