HOLMES COUNTY - A two-month long drug investigation culminated Friday with the arrest of a Gritney Community resident.
The Holmes County Sheriff's Office reports investigators executed a search warrant on May 12 at the home of Ira Brown, located at 2115 Highway 179. The search warrant was a result of a two-month long investigation by HCSO drug investigators into Brown selling methamphetamine from the home.
According to reports, a search of the residence yielded several grams methamphetamine as well as several marijuana plants that were being cultivated.
Brown was arrested and charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and cultivation of marijuana.
