HOLMES COUNTY - Holmes County Sheriff John Tate reports weeks of tips has led to the arrest of four on drug charges at a residence in the Hickory Hill community.

Investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff's Office were able to collect enough probable cause Thursday to obtain a search warrant at 1677 Highway 162, the residence of Everette Smith AKA "Smitty."

As investigators executed the warrant, they found remnants of a meth lab, several grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, including hypodermic needles, pipes, and scales.

Also located in the residence was two firearms, one of which was stolen from Okaloosa County.

Arrested at the residence were: Elizabeth Davidson of Caryville, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of firearm by convicted felon; James Cecil Baxley of Chipley, charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; Marvin Nelson of DeFuniak Springs, charged with possession of listed chemicals, manufacture methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of firearm by convicted felon, dealing in stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia and Destiny Michelle Flanagan of DeFuniak Springs, charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of listed chemicals, manufacture of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
