CHIPLEY — Walkers and  event supporters will take the track today at 6 p.m. for this year's Washington County Race For A Cure at Pals Park in Chipley.

The American Cancer Society uses the funds raised at Relay For Life Events to fund cancer research, to fund treatments, rides to treatments and much, much more.

Teams will take to the track starting at 6 p.m. on Friday and be there until noon on Saturday.

There will be many of the teams out on the track selling anything from Turkey Legs to Lemon Squares. Come out and be a part of the 2013 Washington County Relay For Life and help us Race for a Cure.

Please refer to the info box at the end to get a schedule of the events and the times of the special laps. Hope to see you all there. Check out next week’s Washington County News and visit chipleypaper.com  for photos from the event.
