PANAMA CITY — The Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center is a local non-profit organization. They are in the process of planning our Stars & Guitars benefit concert on Jan. 16. The event’s success is paramount to ensure their ability to provide essential services to children who suffer from abuse and neglect within the community.
“It is only through community support such as yours that we end the epidemic of child abuse,” said Lori Allen, Executive Director of the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. “We are asking for your support by highlighting our primary community fundraiser.”
The benefit concert will begin at 7 p.m. on Jan. 16, and will be starring Lee Brice, Terri Clark, Justin Moore, and Randy Houser. The benefit show will be held at the Panama City Marine Civic Center and will feature a live auction at intermission. Tickets are available at www.marinaciviccenter.com and are $29.50 for floor seats and $23.50 for balcony.
“Unfortunately, this year there were over 8,000 reports of child abuse and neglect in our community last year,” said Allen. “Those numbers are tragic and disturbing to all of us who work daily to prevent childhood maltreatment and heal the trauma that child abuse creates. Your support allows us to provide an array of services to children and families in Florida’s 14th Judicial Circuit, which includes Holmes and Washington Counties. From all of us at Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, thank you very much.”
