Chipola Daughters Learn About Heart Health

At their January meeting members of Chipola Chapter, National Society Daughters of The American Revolution, learned the latest thinking about women's heart health from Dr. Robin Albritton.  Dr. Albritton talked about rick factors and focused on preventive measures, such as life stile changes, for better heart health.  Ten interested guests were in attendance including one member of SAR and two members of C.A.R.  Blue Springs Society, N.S.C.A.R. President gave the C.A.R. annual report and Florida State Organizing Secretary Carly Miller distributed a Blue Springs Society pamphlet showing things the local society has learned about the 2012 national theme, "The Battle of Saratoga: The Turning Point."

The next DAR meeting will be on February 18, 2013 at 11:00 at Beef 'O' Brady's.  Chris Moore will speak about the Navy Coastal Systems Lab. All interested persons are invited.  Reservations are not required for the Dutch treat lunch.  For information please contact Vice Regent Carolyn Jordan at or 850-638-1947.
