May shopping list from WCEMA

Following is the May shopping list for your Emergency Supply Kit. The Washington County Emergency Management Office has provided this information over the past few months to assist residents in creating a kit that would be beneficial should power be interrupted for any length of time.

This is the final shopping list before the 2008 Hurricane Season which begins on June 1st. Remember, these are suggested items. You should make adjustments according to your family’s needs. Those individuals requiring special diets should be considered and if there is an infant in the home be sure to have extra diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, etc.

Shopping List for May

Aspirin or Acetaminophen

Adhesive Bandages

Personal Products (deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, feminine products, etc.)

Rubbing Alcohol

Latex Gloves (at least 2 pair)

Hydrogen Peroxide

Antiseptic

Anti-Diarrheal Medicine

Rolls of Gauze or Bandages

First Aid Tape
