Local students receiving scholarships

Chipola College will hold a press conference Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m., to recognize 13 students who received Wired for Technology Scholarships this Fall.
Florida’s Great Northwest recently contributed $1 million to several area colleges (including Chipola) to encourage students to enroll in Computer Science and Technology related fields. Chipola received $50,000 in scholarship money for this school year.
The press conference will be held in the Literature/Language Conference Room (Building Z) on the second floor.
