Daniel Thomas Murray

Daniel Thomas Murray, 57, of Cottondale died Monday, July 30, 2007 at his residence.

He was born in Ponce de Leon, but has lived in Cottondale since 1989. Mr. Murray retired from US Air Force after 20 years of service and attended First Baptist Church in Cottondale. He enjoyed working with computers and was a member of many computer clubs in this area. He also enjoyed fixing stuff and spending time with his sons.

He is survived by four sons, John Thomas Murray and wife Mila of Cottondale, James Daniel Murray of Orlando, Robert Daniel Murray and wife Dana of Orlando and Ozzy Murray of Cottondale; one sister, Joan Smith of Texas; one nephew, Rob Smith of Kansas City and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM CST Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Maddox Chapel in Marianna with Rev. Jack Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Ponce de Leon City Cemetery in Ponce de Leon, Florida with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Maddox Chapel.
