Miller visits RMS

Congressman Jeff Miller visited Roulhac Middle School Thursday morning to address 8th grade students.  Miller discussed the requirements and duties of a congressman.  He then gave students an opportunity to ask questions.  Students ask questions about the present economy, the crisis in the Middle East, immigration, and the upcoming Presidential election.  RMS Principal, Mike Park, stated “We were honored to have Congressman Miller take time out of his busy schedule to visit our school and meet with our students.  Many students remembered him from our trip to Washington DC last school year when he gave us a tour of the White House.”  The students are looking forward to visiting Rep Miller in Washington DC next spring when they tour the Nation’s Capital.
