'Pink Panther' coming to Vernon

The Vernon High School Advanced Drama class will present the hilarious comedy The Pink Panther Strikes Again on Saturday, April 25 and Saturday, May 2 at 7:00pm nightly.

This is the full-length theatrical adaptation of the movies made famous in the classic slap-stick style of Woody Allen and Steve Martin.

The primary character, Chief Inspector Jacques Clousseau, travels from Paris to Munich in a attempt to capture former Chief Inspector Dreyfus, who has escaped from an insane asylum and has elicited the aid of numerous assassins to try to capture Clousseau,"...alive, or better yet, dead."

Members of this year's advanced class will have a schedule that includes seven performances locally and in Panama City over the next two weeks.  Admission is $3 a person.  The play is recommended for family members of ages 11 and older.

The Pink Panther Strikes Again is presented through special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing Company, Woodstock, Illinois.  Primary costume companies include Costume Holiday House and Theatre House, Inc..
