Vernon High School in first Quiz Bowl of the year

On September 21, Vernon High School, Holmes County High School, and Chipley High School all met at Holmes County High for the first Quiz Bowl of the year.

All three teams tried their best and the finish was great.

Chipley High School placed third, putting Holmes County at second while Vernon triumphantly took home first place going neck to neck with Holmes County High School until the end.

The questions were based on categories from Character and Leadership Development, Leadership Theory and Application, Foundations for Success, Wellness, Fitness and First Aid, and more.

The victorious participants of this event were Julie Sheehan, Courtney Poppell, Erick Clark, Josh Becker, and Brandon Williams.
