Chipley JROTC compets in Individual Rader Competition

The Chipley JROTC competed in an Individual Rader Competition on Thursday, September 15, at Vernon High School.

The schools that competed were Holmes County High School, Vernon High School, and Chipley High School.

These JROTC cadets participated in both physical and mental testing challenges. Some of the challenges these cadets faced include map tests, knot tying, pushups, a 10-meter tire run, and squat thrust.

In all events the top three male and female cadets are recognized. Out of 29 cadets from Chipley High School congratulations to our top males, C/2LT Sean McDonald placing 1st in pushups and sit-ups, C/PFC Joseph McLeroy placed 1st in the obstacle course, C/CSM Jack Daniels placed 2nd in the obstacle course and C/2LT TJ Fears claiming 3rd in the obstacle course.

As well as a congratulations to our top females with C/SFC Brianna Owens claiming 1st in pushups and sit-ups and C/SGT Keri Richardson placing 2nd.

Congratulations to all cadets that competed we showed up and did out best and ended strong, keep up the good work this is the start to a great year. HOOAH!
