Evelyn Gainey Sellars
Evelyn Gainey Sellars, 89, of Montgomery, Ala. (formerly of Chipely, Florida) died August 29 in Montgomery, Ala. She was born on June 14, 1918 in Chipley to Charlie and Hester (Owens) Gainey. She had resided in Montgomery for the last three years.
Sellars and her husband D.M. lived in Destin, for 20 years where she owned and operated a shoe store. She was a member of Ridge Crest Baptist Church in Montgomery.
She is preceded in death by her husband D.M. Sellars.
Survivors include two daughters: Marianne S. Harrell, Montgomery and Betty Joe Krause and husband Richard, Mary Ester; four sisters, Ollie Taylor, Dothan, Ala., Exa Bush, Martha Jean Nelson and husband Horace and Frances Kirkland, all of Chipley; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great granchild.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel, Chipley, Florida, with Rev. Shane Hardesty officiating.
Intermnet will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home of Chipley directing. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road, Chipley.
Bradford R. Borck
Bradford R. "Brad" Borck, 61, of Malone died August 29 at Southeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.
A native of Laraedo, Texas, he had resided in Malone for the past 25 years, he was a U. S. Navy veteran and a carpenter by trade.
Borck is survived by two brothers, John D. Revels and fiance Jennifer Logue, James Revels of Malone; and special friend, Teresa Pelham and family of Bascom.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 1, at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jack Howell officicating, burial will follow at Rocky Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 31, at Maddox Chapel in Marianna.
Agnes M. Waller
Agnes Marie Waller, 83, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, at her daughter's home in Titusville. She was born in Armrod, Pa., and was a resident of Marianna for many years.
She was co-owner of Waller Service Company and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marianna.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Waller.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna M. Larson and husband Sam P., of Titusville, Terry A. Joseph and husband, Millard (Joe), of Pensacola; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sept. 1 at Maddox Chapel of Marianna with Dr. Bob McKibben officiating.
Burial was in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home directing.
