• Bonifay Halloween Trick-or-Treat is set for Friday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Halloween Block Party will be during the allotted trick-or-treat time on East Nebraska Street between Varner and Hubbard.

• First Baptist Church will hold Treat Street Friday night, Oct. 31 next to the church.
• Bethlehem Junior Class will host a Halloween dance party Friday, Oct. 31, from 7-10 p.m.  Admission is $5. Door prizes awarded for the best costume. For more information, or questions call 547-3621.

Washington County
•Vernon High School will be sponsoring Trick or Treat Street for Vernon Middle and High School students on Oct. 30 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Different clubs and organizations at VHS will set up games for the kids along the main walkway at the high school and pass out candy.
•Wausau Trick-or-Treat is scheduled for October 31, from 5- 7:00 p.m.
•Trick or Treat’ in downtown Chipley
Merchants will distribute candy Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. 
All merchants are urged to take part in this community event, whether you are located in downtown or elsewhere in the Chipley/Washington County area.
Due to the large number of children that traditionally participate the event is being relocated, for the safety of the children.
The change: blocking off north and south Railroad Avenue from Hwy 77 to Martin Luther King and block 7th and Martin Luther King from Hwy 90 to Church Street (Farmer's Market Area). 
The streets and parking in this area will be used for a "Trunk or Treat."  Merchants are to use these areas to set up a booth or use a car or truck and decorate it with emphasis your business and pass out candy from there. 
A dog costume contest will be held at the Farmer’s Market 6 p.m.
