New Hope events

•On Sunday, August 1 from 1 to 5 p.m. New Hope Baptist Church across from the fire house will hold a block party (“Splash & Bash”) with water slides, food and fun. Bring your family, friends and a towel.

•On Monday August 2 New Hope Watch will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the firehouse. The Holmes Correctional Institution Gang Prevention Team will be offering information on detection and prevention of gang activity.
