DUI Roadside Sobriety Checkpoint

EBRO - On Friday night, September 4, 2009, the Marianna office of the Florida Highway Patrol, in conjunction with other local agencies, will conduct a DUI Roadside Sobriety Checkpoint.

The location of this checkpoint will be in Washington County, on Highway 79, approximately 4 miles north of Ebro. The hours of the checkpoint will be from approximately 8:00 pm, through 12:00 am, on Saturday, September 5, 2009, or until traffic flow makes it impractical.

All drivers in the area during these times are encouraged to be especially attentive to vehicles and personnel on and near the roadway.

They are also urged to allow additional travel time for any commutes through the affected area as set-up and breakdown will also impact their travel, although the impact should be relatively minor.
